Changes the reference to vulnerable adult abuse in the first-degree murder statute from "first and second degree" to "first or second degree" under section 145n.

Maintains that first-degree murder includes murder committed during the perpetration or attempted perpetration of specified felonies, including vulnerable adult abuse.

Preserves all other provisions of the first-degree murder statute, including punishments of life imprisonment for willful, deliberate, premeditated killing and murders during commission of enumerated felonies.
