Authorizes the superintendent of public instruction to grant temporary teaching certificates to spouses of active-duty military members married and assigned to duty stations in Michigan

Requires applicants to hold a current teaching certificate or license from another U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, other U.S. territories, or a foreign country

Temporary certificates are valid for 1 year and may be renewed annually if the applicant continues to meet eligibility requirements

Superintendent may deny or revoke temporary certificates for fraud, material misrepresentation, concealment in the application, or convictions that would warrant revocation of a standard teaching certificate under section 1535a
