Temporary military spouse licenses are valid for 1 year and may be renewed annually if the spouse continues to meet eligibility requirements, including maintaining active duty status in Michigan.

Requires spouses to provide proof that both they and their active-duty spouse are assigned to duty stations in Michigan under official military orders.

Establishes eligibility criteria: spouse must hold a current license in a health profession from an equivalent licensing authority in another U.S. state, territory, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a foreign country.

Maintains existing temporary license provisions for applicants completing all requirements except examinations, with 18-month validity and automatic voiding upon exam failure.
