Department must develop and disseminate a public awareness campaign on sickle cell disease within 90 days of the section's effective date, targeting health professionals, health facilities, local health departments, and the general public.

Campaign must include information about sickle cell disease and available methods of care and treatment modalities.

Campaign must identify sickle cell resources in Michigan available for distribution and referral purposes.

Campaign may include any other information the department considers appropriate.

Department must develop a program within 90 days to coordinate services available to Michigan residents from sickle cell disease programs, including state, federal, and voluntary programs.
