Declares July 11, 2012, as Srebrenica Remembrance Day in Michigan, marking the 17th anniversary of the genocide in which at least 8,372 Bosniak civilians were executed and 30,000 were expelled.

Designates July 11-18, 2012, as Bosnia and Herzegovina Tribute Week in Michigan to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the war that resulted in over 100,000 civilian deaths from ethnic cleansing and aggression between 1992-1995.

Acknowledges U.S. Senate and House resolutions passed in 2005 recognizing the genocide perpetrated by Serbian forces in Srebrenica and Bosnia.

Calls upon all citizens to reject violence and hate and promote peaceful coexistence among all peoples.
