House Resolution 362 is a tribute resolution honoring the Honorable Sharon Tyler as she leaves the Michigan House of Representatives after four years representing Berrien and Cass counties in the Seventy-eighth District.

Sharon Tyler brought decades of experience in economic development and local government, including 18 years as a financial services manager for the Berrien County Economic Development Department and 12 years as executive director of the Berrien County Manufacturers Council.

During her tenure, Tyler served as vice-chair of the Commerce Committee, minority vice-chair of the Agriculture Committee, and member of committees on education, elections, veterans, and retirement issues, never missing a vote.

Tyler championed legislation protecting farms from feral swine, strengthening campaign finance laws, ensuring election security, and improving emergency services in Michigan's border communities.

The House extends its appreciation to Tyler and directs copies of the resolution be transmitted to her as evidence of gratitude and best wishes for her future.
