Allows pickup trucks equipped with a fifth wheel assembly to tow a semitrailer designed for recreational living purposes plus one additional trailer or semitrailer, provided the total combination does not exceed 75 feet in length.

Requires the additional trailer or semitrailer to be attached with safety chains at the extreme outer edge with a locking mechanism, and the towing vehicle hitch must be securely attached to the truck frame.

Limits the gross weight of the additional trailer or semitrailer to not exceed the empty weight of the pickup truck or the empty weight of the semitrailer.

Classifies a pickup truck towing a semitrailer and additional trailer as a passenger vehicle subject to passenger vehicle speed limit requirements under section 627(5).

Violations of these towing provisions constitute civil infractions; effective immediately upon approval on April 10, 2012.
