Amends Michigan Vehicle Code Section 682 to extend school bus stopping requirements to public transit buses operated by specified public agencies and nonprofits that transport pupils to or from school.

Requires drivers to stop at least 20 feet from a stopped public transit bus displaying two alternately flashing red lights and remain stopped until the bus resumes motion or signals are deactivated.

Allows drivers to proceed past a stopped public transit bus at no more than 10 miles per hour at intersections controlled by traffic officers or signals, with due caution for passenger safety.

Classifies violations as civil infractions and authorizes courts to impose community service of up to 100 hours at a school in addition to civil fines and costs.

Defines "public transit bus" as buses transporting pupils operated by county/city/township authorities, metropolitan transportation authorities, public transportation authorities, or nonprofit corporations providing transportation services.
