Upon request by a victim or victim's representative, the department of corrections shall confiscate and dispose of any items belonging to or formerly belonging to the victim that are in a prisoner's possession.

Department shall also confiscate and dispose of any photographs, drawings, or other visual images or representations of the victim found in a prisoner's possession.

Victim's representative is defined as the parent or legal guardian if the victim is under 18 years old.

Victim's representative includes a member of immediate family or next of kin if the victim is deceased or unable to exercise rights under this section.
