Reduces the twenty-seventh judicial circuit (Newaygo and Oceana counties) from 2 judges to 1 judge, effective upon the earlier of a vacancy or when an incumbent judge does not seek reelection.

Modifies the seventy-ninth district court (Lake and Mason counties) to eliminate the separate district judge position, with probate judges from each county serving as district judges within their respective counties under section 810a.

Changes to the seventy-ninth district take effect upon the earlier of a vacancy in the district judge office or when the incumbent judge does not seek reelection.
