Amends section 17201 of the Public Health Code (1978 PA 368) to modify definitions related to nursing practice in Michigan.

Expands the definition of "practice of nursing" to explicitly include administration of anesthesia by registered professional nurses who hold a specialty certification as a nurse anesthetist as described in section 17210.

Maintains existing definitions of licensed practical nurse (L.P.N.) practice as performed under supervision of a registered professional nurse, physician, or dentist.

Maintains existing definition of registered professional nurse (R.N.) scope of practice including teaching, direction, and supervision of less skilled nursing personnel.
