MI SB1326

Requires construction documents for new construction, alterations, repairs, expansions, additions, or modifications of buildings and structures to be prepared by or under the supervision of a person licensed under Article 20 of the Occupational Code (architects or professional engineers).

Mandates that construction documents include the name and address of the architect or professional engineer and bear their original signature, seal or stamp, and the date.

Allows licensed interior designers to prepare licensed interior design documents and permits them to be issued permits for activities described in those documents, provided the documents bear the designer's seal.

Defines "licensed interior design documents," "licensed interior design services," and "licensed interior designer" by reference to Section 2801 of the Occupational Code, 1980 PA 299.

Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. 1325 of the 96th Legislature is enacted into law.
