Changes the term "a person" to "an individual" throughout MCL 324.73109 and 324.73110 for clarity in legal language.

Increases civil liability for violations from $250 to $750 or actual property damages (whichever is greater), plus actual and reasonable attorney fees.

Raises criminal penalties for first violations from $100-$500 fine to $250-$750 fine, with imprisonment up to 90 days unchanged.

Increases penalties for second or subsequent violations within 3 years from $100-$1,000 fine to $500-$1,500 fine, with court discretion to revoke hunting/fishing/trapping licenses for up to 3 years.

Bill effectiveness is contingent on Senate Bill No. 1340 of the 96th Legislature being enacted into law.
