Prohibits registered sex offenders from residing within a student safety zone, with exceptions for certain individuals.

First violation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year imprisonment or a $1,000 fine; subsequent violations are felonies punishable by up to 2 years imprisonment or a $2,000 fine.

Exempts students age 19 or younger attending secondary or postsecondary school and living with parents/guardians, except they cannot initiate or maintain contact with minors in the zone outside school attendance.

Exempts students age 26 or younger in special education programs living with parents/guardians or in group homes/assisted living, with the same contact restrictions as regular students.

Allows 90 days for individuals already lawfully residing in a student safety zone to relocate after becoming required to register as sex offenders.
