• Revises Section 227 to broaden restrictions on carrying bladed objects and weapons by prohibiting concealed or vehicle carry except in dwelling houses, places of business, or possessed land, with exceptions for hunting, fishing, trapping, and occupational/hobby use.

• Clarifies definitions of "readily accessible for immediate use" and "securely encased" for weapons in transit.

• Exempts peace officers, military members, corrections employees, security officers, and other authorized personnel from weapons prohibitions under Section 231.
