Amends the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to add language protecting the people's right to hunt and fish.

Declares that hunting, fishing, and taking of game are valued parts of Michigan's cultural heritage and should be preserved.

States that hunting and fishing play an important role in the state's economy and in conservation and management of natural resources.

Establishes that citizens of Michigan have a right to hunt, fish, and take game subject to regulations prescribed by the Natural Resources Commission and state law.

Requires the Natural Resources Commission to use sound scientific management principles when making decisions about game taking and to hold public meetings with at least 30 days' notice before issuing related orders.
