Amends the Emergency 9-1-1 Service Enabling Act to add "local medical control authority" as a defined term under section 102, referencing the definition in the Public Health Code (MCL 333.20906).

Modifies section 204 to require each PSAP (Primary Public Safety Answering Point) to work with local medical control authorities and participating public agencies to determine which public safety service unit is closest to a request for public safety service.

Changes procedural language in section 204(1) from "pursuant to" to "under" regarding 9-1-1 system implementation.

Ensures coordination between PSAPs and medical control authorities in dispatching emergency response services to callers.
