Adds definition of "brandish" to Michigan Penal Code Section 222, defining it as pointing, waving about, or displaying a firearm in a threatening manner with intent to induce fear in another person.

Reorganizes existing definitions in Section 222 by renumbering subsections (c) through (k) to become subsections (d) through (l) to accommodate the new "brandish" definition.

Maintains existing definitions for firearm types including pistols (26 inches or less in length), shotguns, short-barreled shotguns (less than 18 inches), rifles, and short-barreled rifles (less than 16 inches).

Bill takes effect only upon enactment of House Bill No. 5091 of the 97th Legislature.
