Requires owners, lessees, operators, or managers of theatres, circuses, athletic grounds, and places of public entertainment to print ticket price and seat number (if applicable) on each admission ticket in conspicuous type.

Mandates that tickets purchased at locations other than the box office must display any surcharge in excess of the box office price and include a statement informing buyers they can purchase tickets at box office price directly at the venue.

Repeals criminal penalties and restrictions on ticket resale, eliminating the previous misdemeanor offense for selling tickets above advertised prices with written permission from venue operators.

Eliminates provisions that previously prohibited ticket scalping on public places and thoroughfares, as well as restrictions on establishing secondary ticket sales agencies or suboffices.

Removes the nontransferable ticket provision that previously prohibited resale of discounted tickets sold under restrictive conditions with the holder's name printed on the ticket.
