Amends the definition of "public transportation provider" in 2012 PA 387 to explicitly exclude street railways organized under the nonprofit street railway act of 1867.

Defines "public transportation provider" to include public or private entities providing public transportation services, contractors, authorities, and agencies created before or after the act's effective date.

Expands the definition to include authorities formed under six specific Michigan public acts related to transit and transportation.

Effective date is 90 days after enactment, with the act approved by the Governor on June 21, 2014 and taking effect September 25, 2014.
