Authorizes security officers at nuclear generating facilities to use physical force (excluding deadly force) to prevent or terminate unlawful trespassing under Michigan Penal Code Section 552.

Permits use of deadly physical force by nuclear facility security officers to prevent or terminate break-ins or attempted break-ins of nuclear buildings or structures when the officer reasonably believes it is necessary to prevent serious physical harm, deter radiological sabotage, or prevent theft or diversion of special nuclear material.

Allows nuclear facility security officers to threaten use of physical force, including deadly force, if reasonably necessary to protect themselves or others against potential force or to deter radiological sabotage or theft of special nuclear material.

Requires conspicuous posting of authorization notices at all entrances and perimeter intervals of nuclear generating or storage buildings to provide reasonable notice to potential intruders.

Grants civil liability immunity to security officers, their employers, and nuclear facility owners and operators for lawful conduct under this act; effective July 9, 2014.
