MI HB5329

Amends MCL 777.11b to add 20 felonies to the sentencing guidelines in Chapter XVII of the criminal procedure code, including crimes related to state identification fraud, firearm licensing, sex offender registration, and false reporting.

Establishes specific offense categories and statutory maximum sentences for new felonies, including unauthorized LEIN disclosure (4 years), false state ID information (5-15 years depending on offense number), and counterfeiting state ID cards (5-10 years).

Adds firearm-related offenses to the guidelines including unlawful firearm records access, pistol license application forgery, false statements on pistol sales records and concealed pistol permit applications, and carrying concealed pistols in prohibited places (all with 4-year maximums).

Includes sex offender registration violations with sentences ranging from 2-10 years depending on offense number, student safety zone violations (2 years), and false child abduction reports (4 years).

Bill takes effect only upon enactment of five other related bills (HB 5324, HB 5325, HB 5326, HB 5327, HB 5328), Senate Bill 49, and House Bill 4155.
