Provides civil liability protection for individuals who in good faith administer an opioid antagonist to another person believed to be experiencing an opioid-related overdose.

Exempts the liability protection when the individual administering the antagonist is a physician, physician's assistant, registered nurse, or licensed practical nurse providing care in a hospital setting.

Excludes conduct that is willful or wanton misconduct from liability protection.

Defines "opioid antagonist" as naloxone hydrochloride or any other similarly acting and equally safe drug approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration for treating drug overdose.

Defines "opioid-related overdose" as conditions including extreme physical illness, decreased consciousness, respiratory depression, coma, or death resulting from opioid consumption or use with another substance.
