Removes the requirement that write-in candidates for precinct delegate must file a declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate in order for votes to be counted.

Eliminates the filing deadline and procedures for precinct delegate write-in candidates, including the requirement to file with city or township clerks by 4 p.m. on the Friday before the election.

Removes the requirement for clerks to deliver lists of precinct delegate write-in candidates to election inspectors before polls close on election day.

Maintains filing requirements for all other write-in candidates (non-precinct delegate) to submit declarations of intent by 4 p.m. on the second Friday before the election.

Preserves the exception allowing write-in votes without prior declaration if a candidate on the official ballot dies or becomes disqualified after the filing deadline.
