• Updates the Michigan Manual publication requirements by removing obsolete content categories (post offices, newspapers, institutional statistics, property valuations, and intermediate school districts) while retaining core informational sections.

• Removes the requirement for county superintendents of schools to distribute Michigan Manuals to schools, instead directing the secretary of state to oversee distribution to county clerks and county superintendents.

• Defines "publication" or "publish" to include production and dissemination of information in print, microfilm, microfiche, or electronic form, and repeals sections 5 and 37 of 1899 PA 44.
