Prohibits employers and their agents from publishing employment advertisements stating or suggesting that applications from unemployed job applicants will not be reviewed or considered for interviews or hiring.

Prohibits employment advertisements that state or suggest only applications from currently employed applicants will be reviewed and considered for interviews or hiring.

Permits employers to grant preference to current employees and to require relevant previous work experience in job postings.

Imposes civil fines of up to $5,000 for first violations and up to $10,000 for each subsequent violation.

Applies to advertisements published, disseminated, distributed, or posted electronically.
