Amends the "Abortion Insurance Opt-Out Act" (2013 PA 182) to modify the definition of "elective abortion" in section 11.

Expands the exception for abortion procedures to include terminations necessary "to protect the woman's health" in addition to the existing exception to "avert her death."

Defines "health care corporation" by reference to section 105 of the nonprofit health care corporation reform act (1980 PA 350).

Maintains existing exclusions from "elective abortion" including contraceptive use, treatment of miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, and procedures necessary to preserve fetal life or health.

Updates reference to "qualified health plan" to cite 42 USC 18021 rather than the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
