Amends the Public Body Law Enforcement Agency Act (2004 PA 378, MCL 28.588) to modify ordinance publication requirements for multicounty metropolitan districts.

Before January 1, 2015, ordinances must be published once in a newspaper of general circulation within the public body's territory and are effective immediately upon publication unless a later date is specified.

Beginning January 1, 2015, ordinances must be published according to tier B provisions of the Local Government Public Notice Act, with the same immediate effectiveness unless a later effective date is provided.

Maintains existing authority for governing boards to adopt rules, regulations, and ordinances regarding property management, public safety, parking regulation, and sign control, with violations punishable by up to 93 days imprisonment or $500 fine or both.
