Amends Section 1201 of the Revised School Code to require school district boards and public school academy boards to conduct all authorized business at public meetings in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.

Requires board actions to be authorized by majority vote of members at a public meeting with proper vote records maintained.

Mandates that both school district boards and public school academy boards hold at least one regular public meeting per month.

Requires public school academy boards to hold monthly meetings at the school building and cyber school boards to hold monthly meetings in each school district where enrolled pupils reside.

Specifies that meeting dates, times, and locations must be convenient for parents, teachers, and pupils, with public notice provided according to Open Meetings Act requirements.
