Calls on the President and Congress to support Michigan's application for a state-sponsored EB-5 regional center for attracting foreign investment and job creation.

EB-5 program allows immigrant investors to obtain employment-based visas by investing $1,000,000 in a new business or $500,000 in targeted unemployment or rural areas, with requirement to create or retain at least 10 domestic jobs within two years.

State-sponsored regional centers can serve as international marketers and coordinate investor-immigrants while offering enhanced services and allowing investors to count indirect job creation toward visa requirements.

Designates that copies of the resolution be sent to the President, Congress leadership, Senate and House Judiciary Committee chairs, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director, and Michigan's congressional delegation.
