Condemns the American Studies Association's December resolution endorsing a boycott of Israeli academic institutions in response to Palestinian civil society's boycott, divestment, and sanctions campaign.

Asserts that boycotting academic institutions violates fundamental principles of academic freedom and could pressure both Israeli and American scholars to comply with the boycott.

Warns the boycott could harm Jewish Studies programs at American universities and negatively affect Israeli exchange programs, including Michigan State University's summer study abroad and Visiting Israeli Scholars Program.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the American Studies Association, the Association of American Universities, and the President's Council, State Universities of Michigan.
