Urges the Governor, state agencies, medical service providers, and health care agencies to establish clinical care and research centers for neuroendocrine-immune diseases (NEIDs) including ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, Gulf War illness, and chemical sensitivity/environmental illness.

Identifies that approximately 20 million Americans are affected by NEIDs, with Michigan estimating 41,400 people with ME/CFS and 198,000 with fibromyalgia.

Notes that 70 percent of NEID patients see four or more physicians before receiving correct diagnosis, and less than 20 percent of Americans with chronic fatigue syndrome have been diagnosed.

Urges health-related educational institutions to increase education about NEIDs for future medical professionals to improve physician knowledge and reduce diagnostic delays.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the Michigan Governor's office, Department of Community Health, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Michigan Health Council, and Michigan State Medical Society.
