Urges the Great Lakes Commission to study and take a formal position on Ontario Power Generation's proposed underground nuclear waste repository at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station, located less than a mile from Lake Huron's shore.

Expresses concern that a leak or breach of radioactivity from the waste facility could damage the ecology of the Great Lakes and harm the tens of millions of U.S. and Canadian citizens who depend on the lakes for drinking water, fisheries, tourism, and recreation.

Directs the Great Lakes Commission to study the potential impacts of the proposed facility and similar radioactive waste facilities on the Great Lakes region.

Requires copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Great Lakes Commission's Board of Directors and Executive Director, Michigan's delegation to the Commission, and the International Joint Commission.
