Urges the President of the United States to authorize an additional 25,000 refugee visas for displaced Iraqis, specifically including Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syriacs, and Yazidis displaced due to their religious faith.

Requests preference be given for placement of these Iraqi refugees in Michigan, which has the largest concentration of Chaldeans outside of Iraq.

Cites the humanitarian crisis caused by ISIL persecution and displacement of approximately 2.8 million Iraqis who lack access to basic resources and face violence including crucifixions, beheadings, and slavery.

Notes that Iraqi refugees have demonstrated economic contributions to American communities, with 61 percent of Chaldean households in Metro Detroit founding their own businesses.

Directs the resolution be transmitted to the President, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and Michigan congressional delegation members.
