Prohibits the Department of Natural Resources from designating or classifying land areas specifically to achieve or maintain biological diversity, and voids any existing rules or orders doing so.

Requires the department to keep state land open to hunting unless closed for public safety, wildlife management, homeland security, or legal requirements, and to prevent net decreases in acreage open to hunting.

Mandates annual reports to the legislature by April 1 listing locations and acreage of land closed to or opened for hunting during the preceding year with reasons for changes.

Allows individuals licensed to carry pistols under 1927 PA 372 to carry firearms on department property in compliance with that act, and prohibits department rules preventing this.

Removes biological diversity conservation as a state forest management goal while maintaining sustainable forestry principles focused on economic, social, and environmental values of forests.
