Establishes that engaging or offering to engage a person under 18 years old (not one's spouse) for prostitution, lewdness, or assignation is a crime punishable under section 451 rather than a misdemeanor.

Maintains that engaging or offering to engage an adult for prostitution, lewdness, or assignation remains a misdemeanor subject to part 52 of the public health code.

Makes it a crime for any person 16 years of age or older to aid, assist, or abet another person in committing or offering to commit prohibited acts under sections 448, 449, or 449a, with penalties determined by section 451.

Takes effect January 14, 2015, contingent on House Bill No. 5012 of the 97th Legislature being enacted into law.
