Amends Michigan Public Health Code section 2843 to allow death records to be certified by funeral directors holding a limited license under MCL 339.1806a, in addition to fully licensed funeral directors under MCL 339.1801 to 339.1812.

Expands the definition of "dead body" to include infants who survived an attempted abortion and later died, requiring funeral directors to report such deaths.

Requires physicians to provide medical certification of death within 48 hours, with funeral directors filing death records with local registrars within 72 hours of death.

Requires deaths of infants born alive after attempted abortion and surrendered under the Safe Delivery of Newborns Law to be reported as "Baby Doe" with parental and informant identities redacted.

Enactment is contingent on Senate Bill No. 231 being enacted into law.
