Adds provision (ll) to Michigan Consumer Protection Act prohibiting enforcement of automatic renewal agreements unless the renewal terms are printed in bold type at least 2 points larger than surrounding text and the consumer signs or initials an acknowledgment before entering the agreement.

Adds provision (mm) that references violations of sections 3e, 3f, 3g, 3h, and 3i as unfair trade practices (specific sections to be defined elsewhere in the act).

Prohibits the Attorney General from promulgating rules that create additional unfair trade practices beyond those enumerated in the statute, though rules may implement existing provisions.

Maintains exception to social security number disclosure requirements for health-related and dental-related benefit administration and employer-provided benefits to employees.

Clarifies that the Attorney General cannot promulgate rules implementing environmental marketing claims provisions (subsections dd and ee) to ensure national uniformity.
