Allows individuals to possess game killed or injured by motor vehicle collisions, with exceptions for badger, bobcat, brant, coot, crow, bear cubs, duck, elk, fisher, geese, marten, moose, otter, snipe, spotted fawn deer, wild turkey, wolf, and woodcock.

Motor vehicle drivers involved in collisions have first priority to take possession of the game.

Requires individuals possessing deer to obtain a salvage tag, notify the Department of Natural Resources or law enforcement by phone/website, or state intent when calling 9-1-1 to report the collision.

Requires written records for beaver, coyote, fox, mink, muskrat, opossum, raccoon, skunk, weasel, and small game, including date, time, location, game type, personal information, and intended use.

Director may suspend all salvage mechanisms in disease-affected areas based on scientific evidence and must provide public notice and report annually to the legislature on salvage tag issuances and animal reports.
