Amends the personal identification card act to update references to security alarm providers, replacing outdated licensing terminology with current law citations.

Changes reference from "private detective license act" to "professional investigator licensure act, 1965 PA 285, MCL 338.821 to 338.851" for who may access personal identification information.

Removes references to "alarm system contractor" and adds "system provider registered under the security alarm systems act, 2012 PA 580, MCL 338.2181 to 338.2187" as an authorized user of personal information.

Limits access to personal information by private security and alarm system entities to only those purposes permitted under the existing disclosure provisions of the act.

Takes effect only if Senate Bill 619 of the 97th Legislature is enacted into law.
