Requires collaborative law participation agreements to be in writing and signed by all parties, describing the matter and identifying each party's collaborative lawyer who confirms representation in the process.

Establishes that collaborative lawyers are disqualified from representing parties in subsequent litigation related to the collaborative matter, except to seek tribunal approval of agreements or emergency protective orders.

Protects collaborative law communications as confidential and privileged, making them inadmissible in proceedings unless parties waive privilege or specific exceptions apply, such as threats of violence, ongoing crimes, or abuse allegations.

Requires prospective collaborative lawyers to assess appropriateness of the process, inform parties of material benefits and risks compared to litigation or other alternatives, and screen for domestic violence before participation begins.
