Allows the department to grant temporary licenses or certificates of registration to applicants for occupations under articles 7 to 29, valid until exam results are available, a permanent license is issued, or other specified conditions occur.

Establishes a new temporary licensing pathway for spouses of active-duty military members married to service members assigned to duty stations in Michigan, beginning 90 days after the act's effective date.

Requires military spouses seeking temporary licenses to provide proof of a current license in good standing in the same occupation from another state, U.S. territory, or foreign country, as determined by the department.

Temporary licenses for military spouses are valid for 6 months and may be renewed for one additional 6-month term if requirements continue to be met and additional time is needed for permanent licensure.

The department may place limitations on temporary licenses or certificates of registration granted under this section.
