Changes polling place opening time from "7 o'clock in the forenoon" to 7 a.m. and closing time from "8 o'clock in the afternoon" to 8 p.m. on election day.

Establishes early voting beginning 30 days before an election and ending the day before the election, with polls open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.

Requires every city, township, and village to provide early voting at one or more designated polling places.

Applies existing election law provisions to early voting including election inspectors, voter challenges, ballot security, and ballot counting procedures.

Requires poll books for early voting to be divided by date with separate records maintained for each day of early voting.
