Grants civil liability immunity to specified professionals who report suspected human trafficking in good faith to law enforcement or cooperate in trafficking investigations.

Applies to healthcare providers (physicians, dentists, nurses, medical examiners), mental health professionals (psychologists, counselors, social workers), educators, law enforcement, clergy, and regulated child care providers.

Includes certain Department of Human Services employees: eligibility specialists, family independence managers, family independence specialists, social services specialists, social work specialists, and welfare services specialists.

Presumption established that individuals making reports or cooperating in investigations acted in good faith.

Immunity does not cover negligent acts causing personal injury or death, or physician malpractice resulting in personal injury or death; defines human trafficking as violations of Michigan Penal Code Chapter LXVIIA (MCL 750.462a to 750.462j).
