Allow armed forces veterans who served as plumbers or in equivalent job classifications to qualify for journey plumber licenses by providing a DD214 or similar discharge documentation and an affidavit from a military superior confirming 6,000 hours of plumbing experience and basic knowledge in seven specified plumbing areas.

Permit the department to grant experience credit toward the 6,000-hour requirement to veterans with less experience if a military superior's affidavit documents their actual hours and areas of plumbing knowledge.

Waive all licensing fees for individual applicants who served in the armed forces and provide documentation of honorable discharge or honorable conditions discharge.

Establish reduced license fees effective after September 30, 2015 ($20 for journey plumber annual renewal, $5 for apprentice) and prior rates ($40 and $15 respectively).

Require the department to issue or deny master plumber and plumbing contractor licenses within 90 days of application, with refund of fees and 15% discount on next renewal if deadline is missed.
