Permits search warrant affidavits to be submitted electronically with oral oath administration, with electronic signatures accepted as proof of signing.

Establishes that search warrant affidavits are nonpublic for 56 days after issuance, then become public unless a suppression order is obtained to protect ongoing investigations or privacy/safety of victims or witnesses.

Allows magistrates to sign electronically issued search warrants from any location within Michigan.

Requires law enforcement to receive proof of the judge's or magistrate's signature before executing an electronically issued warrant.
