Establishes licensure requirements for genetic counselors in Michigan, including application processing fee ($55), annual license fee ($95), and temporary license fee ($50).

Defines "genetic counselor" and "practice of genetic counseling" to include obtaining family histories, discussing genetic risks, coordinating genetic testing, integrating test results with medical history, and providing counseling and documentation.

Adds one genetic counselor member to the Michigan Board of Medicine (bringing total to 19 voting members) once public members are reduced to 7.

Requires genetic counselors to obtain current certification from a nationally recognized certifying agency approved by the board and prohibits use of genetic counselor title by unlicensed individuals.

Makes genetic counseling licensure mandatory beginning one year after rules are promulgated, with temporary licensed genetic counselors required to work under supervision of a qualified supervisor at all times.
