Department of Transportation shall maintain information for each road or bridge project in Michigan, including project name, description, cost, lane miles, design life, operational start date, and current condition status.

Department must record names and affiliated organizations of individuals responsible for project design, construction, and inspection phases.

County road commissions, cities, and villages that receive department funding for road or bridge projects must provide all required information to the department.

Department shall post completed project information in spreadsheet-compatible format on its website within 30 days of final project acceptance for public access.

If the department fails to post information within 30 days, design, construction, and inspection personnel must report the information to Senate and House appropriations subcommittees at a hearing held no later than 60 days after project completion.
