Allows municipalities with a certified technology park authority to enter into agreements with other authorities to designate additional distinct geographic areas as certified technology parks through December 31, 2015.

Requires authorities to consider the unique characteristics and advantages of public and private resources, regional cooperation benefits, and whether the additional areas add value to the existing certified technology park mission.

Makes distinct geographic areas subject to provisions of section 12a(3), (4), and (5) of the Local Development Financing Act.

Prohibits the state treasurer from approving capture of state education tax act revenues and local/intermediate school district taxes for more than 9 distinct geographic areas designated under this section.

Requires a copy of any designation to be filed with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
