Urges Congress to enact legislation extending the MotorCities National Heritage Area Partnership in Michigan beyond its current September 30, 2014 expiration date.

References S. 2221 and H.R. 4421, which would extend the sunset date to September 30, 2030.

Designates the MotorCities heritage area as one of 49 federally-designated heritage areas in the United States, covering more than 10,000 square miles and 6 million people in Southeast and Central Michigan.

Highlights the heritage area's role in preserving auto industry landmarks and promoting Michigan's industrial heritage through partnerships with the National Park Service and other organizations.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, Michigan's congressional delegation, the MotorCities National Heritage Area managing director, and the Governor of Michigan.
